2026 Summer Assistant Principal (AP) Conference Registration Information
Registration for the 2026 Summer AP Conference is now open for assistant principals (AP), administrative assistants (AA), academy coordinators and deans.
Important Points for Registration:
Review session descriptions and register for the AP Conference in SCHED.
There is an essential session that is required depending on your level (elementary or secondary) or whether you are new (P1-P3); therefore, please be sure to pay close attention to session descriptions as you register for courses.
If you are a new AP or AA, you are required to take Crafting Observational Feedback that Builds Capacity: Point, Prove, Explain. Veteran APs or AAs may also choose to attend this session but know that first priority is given to new APs and AAs.
LUNCH: It is important that you select and register for lunch if you plan to eat lunch. Food is ordered based on counts from registration.
Directions for Using SCHED TO REGISTER
On July 1, visit the Sched conference registration site.
Click on Login.
Click on Sign in with Google.
Enter your VBCPS short email address and password to login. If this is your first-time using Sched, you may need to create a profile. If you need assistance, please call PGI at 757-263-6972 or email at [email protected].
Make your selections by clicking in the circle next to the title. If you are presenting, you do not need to register for the session(s) you are presenting because it takes a seat from a potential attendee. PGI staff will add you as a “VIP” as we get closer to the conference date.
You may also hover over the title to expand the session or click to read the description. Clicking on Add to My Schedule will register you in the selected session.
To review your selections, click on your profile and choose My Schedule. Clicking on Settings will also allow you to update your profile, including a profile picture.
Should you need assistance with registration, please contact the Office of Professional Growth and Innovation at [email protected] or 757-263-6972.
